Happy to pass this announcement along. Looks really interesting:
Join the ABA Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources (SEER) this Wednesday, March 12, at 11:00 AM ET for the next session of the ESG & Sustainability Roundtable SEERies! Led by @Jonathan Nwagbaraocha and @John Dernbach, this session will focus on Resolution 513, which was overwhelmingly approved by the ABA House of Delegates on August 4, 2024. The resolution reaffirms the ABA’s longstanding support for sustainable development and emphasizes the importance of incorporating sustainability into the practice of law. What does this resolution mean for practitioners, and how is it being implemented? How can and should the ABA support lawyers to incorporate sustainable development into their practice and pro bono activities? How can YOU get involved with this initiative? We will discuss these questions and more during this roundtable.

ESG & Sustainability Roundtable SEERies: Implementing ABA Resolution 513 on Sustainable Development
Description
Join the ABA Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources (SEER) for the “ESG & Sustainability Roundtable SEERies,” where we will discuss hot topics related to environmental, social, governance, and sustainability developments in the U.S. and beyond. Each session will cover a key topic or development in this space and provide attendees with the chance to hear and learn from practitioners and experts across different sectors, industries, and jurisdictions. These events will also include breakout sessions, featuring in-house-only breakouts that give attendees opportunities to discuss and collaborate with their counterparts in other organizations under the Chatham House Rule.
The ESG & Sustainability Roundtable SEERies is sponsored by SEER’s ESG & Sustainability Committee and In-House Counsel Committee. Sessions are open to lawyers and other ESG and sustainability professionals. ABA SEER membership is not required to join; however, if you are interested in learning more about the benefits of SEER membership, please visit ambar.org/JoinSEER.
