Book Launch Event for "Cuba's Caribbean Marxism": Penn State School of International Affairs 12 November 2018



Taking this opportunity to announce a book launch event for Cuba's Caribbean Marxism. It is sponsored by the Research and Career Network for Law and International Affairs, a Penn State student organization, as well as Little Sir Press, and the Coalition for Peace & Ethics.

Highlights from the book to be discussed include: (1) the process of law reform with Cuban characteristics; (2) constitutional change and national plebiscite; (3) role of the Communist Party; (3) Caribbean Socialist Regional Trade; (4) the role of ideology; (5) the state of Cuba-U.S. Relations, the Embargo and targeted sanctions; (6) outbound and inbound foreign direct investment; (7) sovereign financing; and (8) a little taste of the ongoing Affair of the Sonic Weapons Attack.

The Event will take place Monday 12 November  4.00 - 5.30 P.M. East Coast Time. It will be live streamed and recorded. Mediasite log in information will be coming soon.
