Klaus Larres, Krasno Global Affairs & Business Council/Krasno Global Events Series: "Israel in a World in Turmoil and Transition; a Conversation With Eli Belotsercovsky, Israeli Ambassador to China

Dr Klaus Larres, Richard M Krasno Distinguished Professor of History & International Affairs at the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill, USA, and the Director of the Krasno Global Affairs & Business Council/Krasno Global Events Series has announced the first of the Krasno Lecture Zoom events of 2026: A Conversation with Eli Belotsercovsky, Israeli Ambassador to China. The event is part of the Krasno Events Series:  "Ambassadors Forum & Distinguished Statespersons Forum" lectures and discussions with distinguished diplomats, military and politicians

I am delighted to pass along the announcement of what is sure to be a quite interesting and informative event:

The new year has started with much further turmoil and war. Military action in Venezuela and the Caribbean has been followed by the brutal events in IRAN. I will talk to one of Israel's most experienced diplomats - Israel's Ambassador in Beijing, China - to tell us more about Israeli relations with the US, China and Russia & Israel's policies toward IRAN, GAZA, the WEST BANK, SYRIA, LEBANON, and many other countries in the MIDDLE EAST and elsewhere.

Our first Krasno Zoom event this semester is happening THIS THURSDAY, Jan. 15, exceptionally due to the time difference between Chapel Hill, NC, and Beijng, China, at 7.00pm EST (SEVEN):
Amb. ELI BELOTSERCOVSKY (Ambassador of Israel to China) in conversation with Prof. Klaus Larres on "ISRAEL & a WORLD in TURMOIL and TRANSITION" Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026 - 7.00pm EST
